To obtain an interest free loan through The Dallas Hebrew Free Loan Association, the borrower must:

1. Be of the Jewish faith
2. Live in the Dallas area for at least six months
3. Have an honest need
4. Have cosigners guarantee the amount of the loan
5. Be approved by the loan committee of The Dallas Hebrew Free Loan Association

Types of Loans

1. Student Loans - Rules and Guidelines

   Funding for NEW student loans will resume starting with the Spring 2012 semester. We will be accepting new applications into the program for Spring semester from October 1 – December 1. Applications for Fall semester (starting in 2012)will be accepted from April 1 – June 1st. The Student Aid Report (SAR) from the FAFSA must be included for your application to be complete. Loans will be awarded on a financial needs basis.
